Who can apply

EU-definition SME (under 250 staff, turnover up to EUR 50M or balance sheet up to EUR 43M), innovative, under 5 years old, at seed stage and having recently received an innovation aid under the RDI regime. Excluded: firms in difficulty, firms from a merger, firms that took over another business, firms that already distributed profits.

How to apply

  1. Have previously received an innovation aid under the RDI State-aid framework.
  2. Apply to Bpifrance; loan granted without any security over company assets or the founder's personal estate. — link
  3. On disbursement a 5% retention (garantie) is deducted; file fees of 0.40% of the loan amount apply.
