EUREKA does not fund projects; Irish companies are funded nationally via the Enterprise Ireland R&D Fund at grant rates up to a maximum of 60% of eligible costs depending on size and project type. Research performing organisations: 100% up to €250,000 (only where an Irish company is in the consortium).

Consortium led by an innovative SME; at least two independent entities from at least two participating countries; SME budget at least 50% of total; max 36 months; civil applications only. Irish clients of EI, LEO, Udaras or IDA trading internationally in manufacturing or eligible services. HPSU clients do not normally qualify for the R&D Fund.
