The commonly cited ceiling is INR 50 lakh, but neither startup.karnataka.gov.in nor elevate.startupkarnataka.gov.in would resolve or load at the time of verification, so the amount is recorded as null rather than taken from aggregator sites.

Who can apply

Startup must be registered and headquartered in Karnataka. Track-specific criteria apply for the Aspire (outside Bengaluru Urban), Shakti (women-led) and Unnati (SC/ST-led) tracks. DPIIT recognition is generally expected by Karnataka for state startup benefits but I could not confirm this on an official Karnataka page at the time of verification.
