Who can apply

Collaborative only: consortia of SMEs, multinationals and research performing organisations (RPOs) doing industrial research and/or experimental development. Irish semi-state bodies and public bodies may now join as non-funded partners provided at least three other eligible partners are included. Mandatory pre-eligibility check for all applicants.

How to apply

  1. Form a consortium — DTIF is suitable for combinations of SMEs, MNCs and research performing organisations (RPOs). — link
  2. Wait for the call documentation to be published ahead of the 1 October 2026 opening.
  3. Submit the collaborative proposal for industrial research and/or experimental development.
